As Auburn Jewelry’s two-year anniversary nears, there are many thoughts buzzing through my head. The first is that I can’t believe it’s been two years. I can’t believe how lucky I am that for two whole years — 24 months — 730 days — I’ve been allowed, by all of you, to do what I absolutely love.
A huge thank you is in order to everyone who’s believed in me and Auburn Jewelry. Everyone who’s purchased a pendant, everyone who’s mentioned Auburn Jewelry to a friend, everyone who’s been nice enough to listen to my elevator pitch, to read my blog, to answer my emails, to share posts, to retweet, to favorite. Thank you all so very much. I couldn’t be more grateful and humbled by the outpouring support.
I also can’t believe how far we’ve come. From a G-chat message (“add some color to your pieces”) from my friend Giselle to being in Seventeen and People. The last two years have been a whirlwind. I’ve never enjoyed lack of sleep more. I’ve never been more excited to wake up early, to not see my friends, to have to decline plans. I’m sure most of you have heard me say, “I’m sorry, I’m too busy.” So let me just say, I’m sorry to everyone I’ve had to cancel on last minute, every birthday party I had to miss, every dinner I had to decline. I love you all and thank you for being so understanding.
At this point I can’t help to think what the future holds for Auburn Jewelry. We have some big announcements to make in the next few months! We can now tell you that we’ve scheduled our first trunk show with the one and only, Bloomingdales! We’ve also been quietly working on production of our Elle Collection. And, my favorite of all, we’ve been giving private lessons in the Auburn Jewelry studios. Please stay tuned for everything to come. We couldn’t do any of this without you.
