About the founder
Auburn Jewelry was founded in 2013 by Samantha Sultanik, President and Creative Director. With a degree in jewelry and metals from Skidmore College, a Juris Doctor from Western New England University School of Law, and over two decades of metalsmithing experience, Samantha brings a unique combination of artistry, expertise, and entrepreneurial vision to the brand.
What she loves most is working directly with clients, transforming their ideas into one-of-a-kind pieces that reflect their personal stories and style.
In 2022, Samantha expanded Auburn Jewelry into permanent jewelry, personally welding more than 10,000 pieces and growing the brand into an award-winning business with a talented team serving clients throughout the Northeast.
Under her leadership, Auburn Jewelry has been featured in publications including WWD, People StyleWatch, Westchester Magazine, and Hudson Valley Magazine, and has collaborated with brands such as Zadig & Voltaire, ANINE BING, Alice + Olivia, Stoney Clover Lane, Knix, Madewell, and Faherty. Auburn Jewelry's handcrafted pieces have also reached customers in more than a dozen countries worldwide.
Despite the brand's growth, Samantha remains hands-on in the creative process, from designing custom jewelry and sourcing exceptional materials to working personally with clients to bring their visions to life.
In fact, Samantha has been working with one of her trusted jewelry suppliers since she was just 14 years old. These longstanding relationships, combined with decades of metalsmithing experience, mean she knows exactly where her materials come from and the quality behind every piece.
About our permanent jewelry
In 2022, Auburn Jewelry expanded into permanent jewelry, bringing more than two decades of metalsmithing expertise to an entirely new jewelry experience.
Since then, our team has welded over 22,000 pieces, earning Auburn Jewelry the distinction of 2024 Best of Westchester winner for Permanent Jewelry.
Our collection features more than three dozen carefully selected chains in sterling silver, 14k gold-filled, and solid 14k gold. Each piece is custom-fitted and precisely welded, with the option to incorporate diamonds, birthstones, and handcrafted connectors.
What truly sets Auburn Jewelry apart is our commitment to craftsmanship and personalization. We create our own custom charms and connectors, including meaningful designs inspired by handwriting, pets, logos, and other one-of-a-kind details.
From an intimate appointment to a large-scale private event or corporate activation, our experienced team brings the same exceptional care and attention to every guest.
